NARRATIVE

ON 9-30-10 AT APPROXIMATELY 4:15PM AN OLDSMOBILE BRAVADA WAS SOUTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 60 JUST NORTH OF THE ALTON EXIT #13 WHEN A NORTHBOUND SEMI LOST ITS WHEEL AND HUB. THE TIRE, RIM AND HUB CAME ACROSS THE MEDIUN INTO THE SOUTHBOUND LANE WHERE THE BRAVADA WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE TIRE AND RIM BUT STRUCK THE HUB. THE SEMI DID NOT STOP AND THE BRAVADA SUSTAINED DISABLING DAMAGE AND WAS TOWED.
