NARRATIVE

VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELING NORTH IN THE LEFT LANE OF I380. VEHICLE 2 MERGED ONTO I380 FROM I80 WEST. VEHICLE 2 SWITCHED FROM THE RIGHT LANE INTO THE LEFT LANE THAT WAS OCCUPIED BY VEHICLE 1. CONTACT WAS MADE BY VEHICLE 2 BY STRIKING THE PASSENGER FRONT RIGHT SIDE OF VEHICLE 1. VEHICLE 1 LOST CONTROL AND STRUCK THE GUARDRAIL ON THE EAST SHOULDER OF I380. VEHICLE 2 AFTER IMPACT ALSO LOST CONTROL AND STRUCK THE GUARDRAIL. BOTH VEHICLES CAME TO REST ON THE EAST SHOULDER.
