NARRATIVE

Summary. Unit 01 was traveling east on I-80. Unit 01 exited off of I-80 onto the eastbound off ramp to Shelby. For unknown reasons Unit 01left the off ramp to the south striking a large sign and a linear post. Damage occured primarily on the passenger side of Unit 01 causing the side airbags to deploy. A wrecker had been called by the rental car company prior to my arrival.
