NARRATIVE

UNIT 1 WAS NB ON I29. UNIT 2 WAS ENTERING I29 NB FROM US 34. THERE ARE YIELD SIGNS POSTED FOR MERGING VEHICLES TO YIELD TO TRAFFIC ON I29. THE DRIVER OF UNIT 2 STATED THAT UNIT 1 WAS IN HER BLIND SPOT. UNIT 2 BEGAN TO MERGE ONTO I29 AND SIDESWIPED UNIT 1. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED TO OFFICERS. UNIT 1 HAD SOME PRIOR DAMAGE TO THE HOOD AND FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. I29 WAS HEAD TO HEAD TRAFFIC ON THE SB LANES FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION AT THAT LOCATION.
