NARRATIVE

VEHICLE #1 WAS SOUTHBOUND ON INTERSTATE 35 AND REAR-ENDED VEHICLE #2. VEHICLE #1 WAS ORIGINALLY IN THE INSIDE LANE WHEN DRIVER #1 WAS FALLING ASLEEP AND APPARENTLY ACCELERATED. DRIVER #2 REPORTED VEHICLE #1 APPROACHED HER AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, AS SHE STATED HER CRUISE CONTROL WAS SET AT 70 MPH.
