NARRATIVE

UNIT ONE WAS NORTHBOUND ON HWY 69 TURNING LEFT ON TO COUNTY ROAD G58. THE DRIVER OF UNIT ONE FAILED TO NOTICE UNIT TWO WHICH WAS SOUTHBOUND ON HWY 65/69. THE DRIVERS WERE UNABLE TO AVOID A MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION. A PASSENGER OF UNIT TWO WAS TRANSPORTED TO MERCY MEDICAL CENTER IN DES MOINES WITH NON LIFE THREATENING INJURES. BOTH VEHICLES WERE REMOVED FROM THE SCENE.
