NARRATIVE

UNIT #2 WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON INTERSTATE 80 THROUGH A LANE CLOSURE CONSTRUCTION ZONE. UNIT #1 WAS FOLLOWING UNIT #2 THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE. AT APPROXIMATELY THE 73 MILE MARKER UNIT #2 CROSSED THE CENTERLINE AND STRUCK NUMEROUS ORANGE CONES. DURING THIS ACTION, A HUBCAP OFF OF UNIT #2 FLEW OFF STRIKING UNIT #1 ON THE PASSENGER SIDE CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. NO ONE WAS INJURED. THE DRIVER OF UNIT #2 COULD NO PROVIDE PROOF OF INSURANCE AND WAS CITED FOR MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS
