NARRATIVE

A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT OCCURRED AT THE JUNCTION OF HWY 7 AND HWY 169 IN WEBSTER COUNTY. VEHICLE 1 WAS STOPPED BEHIND A EASTBOUND VEHICLE AT A STOP SIGN ON HWY 7. VEHICLE 2 WAS STOPPED AT THE JUNCTION OF HWY 7 AND HWY 169 HEADED IN A NORTHBOUND MANNER. VEHICLE 1 PROCEEDED EASTBOUND FOLLOWING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF IT FAILING TO STOP AT THE STOP SIGN ITSELF. THE FRONT VEHICLE TURNED SOUTH ONTO HWY 169 AND VEHICLE 1 CONTINUED STRAIGHT. VEHICLE 2 FAILING TO YIELD TO VEHICLE 1, ALREADY TRAVELING IN THE INTERSECTION, PULLED OUT FROM THE STOP SIGN FAILING TO YIELD AND WAS STRUCK IN THE DRIVER'S SIDE LEFT FRONT. THE VEHICLES CAME TO REST IN THE INTERSECTION. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED, AND VEHICLE 2 WAS TOWED BY MID IOWA TOWING FROM THE SCENE.
