NARRATIVE

AT THE ABOVE TIME AND PLACE A SCHOOL BUS IS MAKING A DROP OF STUDENTS AT A RESIDENCE SEVERAL HUNDRED YARDS SOUTH OF 150 SE. 80TH ST. BEHIND THE SCHOOL BUS IS ABOUT 10 VEHICLES DRIVING IN A SOUTHBOUND DIRECTION OF TRAVEL. A CRASH OCCURS BETWEEN THREE CARS SEVERAL CARS BEHIND THE SCHOOL BUS. AFTER THIS CRASH ARE SEVERAL CARS THAT DO NOT HAVE CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER AND THEN VEHICLE #1 WHO IS STOPPED. VEHICLE #2 FAILS TO BRING HER VEHICLE UNDER CONTROL AND STRIKES VEHICLE #1 TO THE REAR TO THE FRONT OF VEHICLE #2. AFTER IMPACT VEHICLE #1 AND #2 COME TO REST FACING SOUTH AT THE LOCATION OF THE CRASH. BOTH CRASHES HAPPEN AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME, FOLLOWING DISTANCE AND SLIGHT SPEED ARE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS IN THESE CRASHES.
