NARRATIVE

UNIT 1 AND UNIT 2 WERE WESTBOUND ON INTERSTATE 80 AT MILE MARKER 274. UNIT 1 WAS APPROACHING UNIT 2 FROM BEHIND AS UNIT 2 WAS IN THE RIGHT LANE, WHEN THE RIGHT SIDE OF UNIT 1 COLLIDED WITH THE BACK OF UNIT 2 ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SEMI-TRAILER. UNIT 1 WENT INTO THE MEDIAN AFTER IMPACT. UNIT 1 CONTINUED WEST THROUGH THE MEDIAN AND CAME OUT OF THE MEDIAN HEADING WESTBOUND. UNIT 1 STOPPED ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF WESTBOUND INTERSTATE 80. UNIT 2 PULLED OVER BEHIND UNIT 1.
