NARRATIVE

VEHICLE #1 IS NORTHBOUND ON HWY 117 ABOUT 100 YARDS SOUTH OF W. 108TH ST NORTH. VEHICLE #1 LEAVES THE ROADWAY AND ENTERS THE RIGHT SHOULDER WITH THE RIGHT SIDE WHEELS. VEHICLE #1 ATTEMPTS TO CORRECT BY STEERING TO THE LEFT WHICH CAUSES THE DRIVER TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND ROTATE 90 DEGREES IN A COUNTERCLOCKWISE ROTATION. VEHICLE #1 ENTERS THE WEST DITCH SLIDING SIDEWAYS WHERE THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL STRIKES THE TOP OF THE CULVERT. VEHICLE #1 VAULTS INTO THE AIR FOR ABOUT 60 FEET AND COMES TO REST UPRIGHT FACING NORTH.IN THE WEST DITCH FURTHER TESTING IS BEING DONE TO DETERMINE IF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WERE A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR IN THIS CRASH. AFTER RESULTS OF THESE TESTS ARE BACK FROM THE LAB SEVERAL CHARGES WILL BE ADDRESSED.
