NARRATIVE

UNIT 1 AND UNIT 2 WERE EASTBOUND ON HIGHWAY 30 IN THE LEFT LANE OF TRAVEL. UNIT 1 WAS BEHIND UNIT 2. UNIT 1, A POLICE VEHICLE WITH EMERGENCY LIGHTS ACTIVATED, WAS IN PURSUIT OF AN ORANGE DODGE CHARGER THAT HAD TURNED NORTH ON L AVE FROM EASTBOUND HIGHWAY 30. UNIT 2 DID NOT MOVE OVER FOR THE FLASHING EMERGENCY LIGHTS OF UNIT 1. UNIT 1 MOVED TO THE RIGHT LANE TO PASS UNIT 2. THE DRIVER OF UNIT 1 LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. UNIT 1 ROTATED TO THE NORTHEAST AS IT ENTERED THE MEDIAN. THE DRIVER OF UNIT 1 ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THE DIRECTION OF UNIT 1. UNIT 1 CAME OUT OF THE MEDIAN ONTO WESTBOUND HIGHWAY 30 AND ROTATED BACK SOUTHEAST AS IT RE-ENTERED THE MEDIAN. UNIT 1 ROLLED OVER IN THE MEDIAN AND CAME TO REST FACING SOUTH WEST.
