NARRATIVE

THE VEHICLE WAS TRYING TO ELUDE POLICE OFFICERS WHEN IT WAS TRAVELING SOUTH ON 130TH PLACE. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO NEGOTIATE A CORNER WHEN IT LEFT THE ROADWAY TO THE RIGHT AND ENTERED A RESIDENTIAL YARD STRIKING A TREE AND COMING TO REST AGAINST THE TREE. THE DRIVER FLED THE SCENE AND WAS LATER FOUND APPROXIMATELY 1/2 MILE SOUTH EAST OF THE ACCIDENT SCENE. THE DRIVER WAS CITED FOR OPERATING WHILE INTOXICATED.
