NARRATIVE

Vehicle #1 was north bound on L55 south of Silver City attempting to get into position to assist with a pursuit initiated by Montgomery County Sheriffs Office. Two deer entered the roadway. Vehicle #1 attempted to avoid the deer by entering the south bound lane. One deer left the roadway to the east the other ran across the roadway into the path of vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 struck the second deer and was disabled. Vehicle #1 was towed as a result of the collision. Driver of the pursued vehicle was Shaun Allen Akers, 4-16-78, 2313 Q Ave Stanton, IA 51573.
