NARRATIVE

UNIT ONE WAS SLOWING DOWN AND WAS GOING TO MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN ONTO 335TH ST FROM HWY 149. UNIT ONE HAD THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL ACTIVATED. THE BACK SEAT PASSENGER IN UNIT ONE ADVISED THE DRIVER THAT SHE NEEDED TO TURN RIGHT AND NOT LEFT. THE DRIVER OF UNIT ONE THEN MADE AN ABRUPT AND UNSAFE RIGHT HAND TURN ONTO 335TH ST. UNIT TWO WAS SLOWING DOWN TO ALLOW UNIT ONE TO TURN LEFT. WHEN UNIT ONE MADE ITS UNSAFE RIGHT HAND TURN, THE DRIVER OF UNIT TWO SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES AND SWERVED TO THE RIGHT TO AVOID COLLISION. UNIT TWO WAS UNABLE TO AVOID THE COLLISION AND BOTH VEHICLES COLLIDED IN THE INTERSECTION. UNIT ONE CAME TO REST ON THE SHOULDER OF 335TH ST. UNIT TWO CAME TO REST ON THE ROADWAY AT THE POINT OF CONTACT.
