NARRATIVE

VEHICLE #1 WAS WEST BOUND ON I-80 TRAVELING AT APPROX. 72 MPH WITH HIS CRUISE CONTROL ON WHEN THE VEHICLE LOST CONTROL AND WENT ACROSS THE MEDIAN. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED ON ACROSS THE EAST BOUND LANES AND STRUCK THE CABLE GUARD RAIL CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END OF THIS VEHICLE. THE CABLE GUARD RAIL SUSTAINED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE ALSO. DOT WAS NOTIFIED BY STATE RADIO.
