NARRATIVE

UNIT #1 WAS NORTHBOUND ON I-35 AT THE 64 MM. UNIT #1 WAS PASSING A SEMI WHEN THE SEMI (A NON-CONTACT VEHICLE) BEGAN TO MOVE INTO THE LEFT LANE. DRIVER OF UNIT #1 TOOK THE MEDIAN TO AVOID CONTACT WITH THE SEMI. WHEN UNIT #1 ENTERED THE MEDIAN THE DRIVER LOST CONTROL AND ENTERED THE SOUTHBOUND LANES OF I-35. UNITS #1 AND #2 COLLIDED HEAD-ON IN THE SOUTHBOUND LANES OF I-35. UNIT #1 SPUN AROUND MAKING CONTACT WITH THE TRAILER BEING PULLED BY UNIT #2. UNIT #2 THEN WENT ACROSS THE MEDIAN AND CAME TO REST IN THE LEFT NORTHBOUND LANE OF I-35. UNIT #1 CAME TO REST IN THE LEFT NORTHBOUND LANE OF I-35 NORTH OF UNIT #2. THE NON-CONTACT VEHICLE DID NOT STOP. DRIVER AND PASSENGER OF UNIT #2 DECLINED MEDICAL ATTENTION, DRIVER OF UNIT #1 WAS TRANSPORTED TO METHODIST WITH MINOR INJURIES.
