| NARRATIVE |
UNIT 1 WAS SOUTHBOUND ON I-35 IN THE INSIDE LANE OF TRAVEL. UNIT 2 WAS SOUTHBOUND ON I-35 IN THE OUTSIDE LANE OF TRAVEL. UNIT 2 CROSSED OVER THE CENTER LINE. THE FRONT OF UNIT 2 MADE CONTACT WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE OF UNIT 1. UNIT 1 THEN ROTATED CLOCKWISE IN FRONT OF UNIT 2. UNIT 1 WENT OFF THE ROADWAY AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE CONCRETE BARRIER NEAR THE WEST SHOULDER. UNIT 1 WENT BACK ACROSS BOTH LANES AND ROTATED COUNTER CLOCKWISE STRIKING THE CONCRET BARRIER IN THE MEDIAN. UNIT 1 CAME TO REST FACING NORTH IN THE MEDIAN OF SOUTHBOUND I-35. UNIT 1 CAME TO REST FACING SOUTH ON THE WEST SHOULDER OF SOUTHBOUND I-35. THE DRIVER OF UNIT 2 STATED THAT A TAN F-150 AHEAD OF HIM HAD DECELERATED RAPIDLY. THE DRIVER OF UNIT 2 STATED THAT WHEN HE APPLIED HIS BRAKES HIS VEHICLE PULLED TO THE LEFT. |
