NARRATIVE

UNIT 1 WAS SOUTHBOUND ON HWY. 59 AT SHERIDAN AVE. IN THE LEFT LANE. UNIT 2 WAS NORTHBOUND ON HWY. 59 AT SHERIDAN AVE. IN THE RIGHT LANE. UNIT 1 ATTEMPTED A LEFT TURN AS UNIT 2 ENTERED THE INTERSECTION AND COLLIDED WITH THE DRIVERS SIDE OF UNIT 2. UNIT 2 THEN COLLIDED WITH A LIGHT POLE ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION AND CAME TO REST. AFTER THE COLLISION UNIT 1 DROVE TO AN ADJACENT PARKING LOT AND STOPPED. THIS REPORT WAS AMMENDED ON 2/21/11 TO ADD A CITATION ISSUED TO THE DRIVER OF UNIT #1 CHRISTOPHER THOMAS MOORE, FAIL TO YIELD UPON LEFT TURN.
