NARRATIVE

UNIT #1, AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE IN EMERGENCY STATUS, WAS EB ON 5TH AVE. UNIT #2 WAS NB ON HWY 146/WEST ST. UNITS #3 AND #4 WERE STOPPED FOR A RED TRAFFIC LIGHT FACING WEST. UNIT #1 HAD LIGHTS AND SIRENS ACTIVATED AND ATTEMPTED TO NEGOTIATE THROUGH THE INTERSECTION WHILE HAVING A RED LIGHT. UNIT #2 HAD A GREEN TRAFFIC LIGHT AND FAILED TO OBSERVE UNIT #1'S LIGHTS AND SIRENS AND ENTERED THE INTERSECTION OF HWY 146/WEST ST AND 5TH AVE. UNIT #1 AND UNIT #2 COLLIDED IN THE INTERSECTION. THE COLLISION OF UNIT #1 AND #2 CAUSED UNIT #2 TO STRIKE UNIT #3. THAT COLLISION CAUSED UNIT #3 TO STRIKE UNIT #4. UNIT #1 CAME TO REST FACING NORTH EAST. UNIT #2 CAME TO REST FACING NORTH EAST. UNIT #3 CAME TO REST FACING NORTH. UNIT #4 CAME TO REST FACING WEST.
