VEHICLE #1, A FAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT SQUAD CAR, WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON HIGHWAY 3 WHEN A DEER CROSSED ONTO THE ROADWAY FROM THE SOUTH DITCH AND STRUCK THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE VEHICLE.
