NARRATIVE

VEHICLE #1 WAS A UNMARKED PATROL CAR WITH IT'S EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON DRIVEN BY TROOPER MARC RIDOUT. HE WAS ASSISTING MADISON COUNTY DEPUTY CLAYTON ALLEN 61-4 IN PURSUING A VEHICLE THAT WOULD NOT STOP JUST SOUTH OF EAST PERU ON A GRAVEL ROAD. VEHICLE #1 TOPPED A HILL WITH A CURVE TO THE SOUTH JUST OVER THE HILL CREST. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #1 WENT OFF THE CURVE STRIKING THE DITCH EMBANKMENT.
