NARRATIVE

UNIT #1 WAS EB ON I-80 NEAR THE 218 MILE MARKER. UNIT #2 WAS EB ON I-80 NEAR THE 218 MILE MARKER. THE DRIVER OF UNIT #1 ATTEMPTED TO PASS UNIT #2 IN THE LEFT LANE. THE DRIVER OF UNIT #1 LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE AND MADE CONTACT WITH UNIT #2. UNIT #2 LOST CONTROL AND ENTERED THE MEDIAN. UNIT #1 CAME TO REST FACING WEST IN THE SOUTH DITCH OF I-80. UNIT #2 CAME TO REST FACING SOUTH WEST IN THE MEDIAN.
