NARRATIVE

UNIT 1 WAS TRAVELING WB ON HWY 6 APPROACHING WW AVE. A DEER RAN FROM THE NORTH DITCH INTO THE EB TRAVEL LANE. UNIT 1 STRUCK THE DEER, CAUSING FUNCTIONAL DAMAGE TO THE HOOD & RADIATOR. DRIVER OF UNIT 1 PROCEEDED TO TURN AROUND TO GO BACK HOME, BUT THE ENGINE BEGAN TO OVERHEAT JUST SOUTH OF AMANA ON HWY 151 (WHERE LAW ENFORCEMENT ENCOUNTERED THEM). VEHICLE REGISTRATION IS IN TRANSIT
