NARRATIVE

VEHICLE NUMBER ONE WAS NORTHBOUND IN THE SOUTHBOUND CONSTRUCTION ZONE LANE ALONG I-35 AT THE 140 MM WHEN THE VEHICLE ENTERED THE MEDIAN CROSSOVER ENTERING THE NORTHBOUND LANES. VEHICLE NUMBER ONE SLID OUT OF CONTROL AND JACKKNIFED SKIDDING ACROSS BOTH NORTHBOUND LANES OF TRAFFIC AND THE TRAILER CAME TO REST IN THE NORTHBOUND DITCH. THE TRACTOR CAME TO REST ON THE NORTHBOUND SHOULDER OF I-35. THE BRAKE LINES ON THE TRAILER WERE DISENGAGED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT MOVEABLE. BRAKES WERE REPAIRED AND VEHICLE WAS REMOVED. SEVERAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS WERE DAMAGED IN THE MEDIAN CROSSOVER BUT MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK.
