| NARRATIVE |
UNIT #1 (SEMI-TRACTOR PULLING A FULLY LOADED GRAIN TRAILER) AND UNIT #2 (FARM TRACTOR PULLING A FLAT BED TRAILER LOADED WITH HAY BALES) WERE BOTH TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON Y13. UNIT #1 WAS PASSING UNIT #2 IN A NO PASSING ZONE WHEN UNIT #2 TURNED LEFT ONTO PRIVATE FARM DRIVE. UNIT #1 SIDE-SWIPED UNIT #2 CAUSING RIGHT FRONT DAMAGE TO UNIT #1 AND DAMAGE TO UNIT #2 AND THE FLAT BED TRAILER. UNIT #1 ALSO DAMAGED A FENCE AND TWO GATES AS WELL AS A TELEPHONE UTILITY BOX. BOTH UNITS CAME TO REST ON THE PRIVATE FARM DRIVE. VISIBILITY WAS LIMITED FOR BOTH UNITS DUE TO LARGE HAY BALES ON THE FLAT BED TRAILER OF UNIT #2. |
