NARRATIVE

UNIT #1 WAS TRAVELING WEST BOUND ON INTERSTATE 80 AT APPROXIMATELY THE 178.7 MM WHEN HE STRUCK THE REAR END OF UNIT #2. THERE WAS TRAFFIC BACKED UP FROM A PREVIOUS ACCIDENT. UNIT #2 SWERVED INTO THE INSIDE LANE TO AVOID A VEHICLE THAT WAS SLOW MOVING. UNIT #1 HAD TO DO THE SAME THING AND REAR ENDED UNIT #2 THEN TOOK THE MEDIAN TO AVOID ANY OTHER HARM. UNIT #1 HAD TO BE TOWED, UNIT #2 WAS OPERABLE, AND THERE WAS NO INJURIES.
