NARRATIVE

VEHICLE WAS NORTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 5 FROM LOVILIA. DRIVER LOST CONTROL AS ROADWAY CURVED TO THE NORTHWEST. VEHICLE LEFT ROADWAY TO THE RIGHT AND STRUCK CHEVRON SIGN AND CAME TO REST AGAINST DITCH EMBANKMENT. OBSERVATIONS OF POSSIBLE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION WERE OBSERVED OF DRIVER. DRIVER ADMITTED TO CONSUMING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. DRIVER PROVIDE BREATH FOR PBT. PBT INDICATED DRIVER'S BAC ABOVE THE LEGAL LIMIT. DRIVER CONSENTED TO PROVIDE BLOOD SPECIMEN FOR CHEMICAL TESTING. BLOOD SPECIMEN SENT TO DCI FOR CHEMICAL TESTING. CHARGES ARE PENDING.
