NARRATIVE

VEH #1 WAS BING DRIVEN BY AN INTOXICATED DRIVER IN A RECKLESS MANNER AND WAS BEING PURSUED BY VEHICLE #2 WHICH IS A MARKED KEOKUK COUNTY PATROL VEHICLE BEING DRIVER BY A DEPUTY. WHEN VEHICLE #1 WENT TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ONTO 253RD AVE FROM COUNTY BLACKTOP V5G, THE DRIVER BEGAN TO LOSE CONTROL AND THEN HIT THE RIGHT PASSANGER SIDE OF VEHICLE #2 AS THE OFFICER WAS ALSO MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN ONTO 253RD. VEH #1 EVENTUALLY WENT ALL THE WAY IN THE DITCH AND THE DRIVER APPREHENDED AFTER THE TRUCK HAD NO WHERE ELSE TO GO. VEH #1 WAS TOWED BY DICKS TOWING OF SIGOURNEY AND HAD MINOR DAMAGE. VEH #2 WAS DRIVEN AWAY FROM THE SCENE AND HAD COSMETIC DAMAGE TO SEVERAL AREAS ON THE FRONT AND RIGHT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. NO ONE WAS HURT IN THE ACCIDENT.
