NARRATIVE

VEHICLES TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON I80 AT APPROXIMATELY THE 133.4MM. DRIVER OF UNIT 1 FALLS ASLEEP, AND SIDESWIPES VEHICLE 2 NEAR THE BACK DUELS OF THE TRAILER. THIS ACTION CAUSES VEHICLE 1 TO SPIN OUT AND LOSE CONTROL, ENTER THE SOUTH DITCH, WHERE IMPACT SETS OFF THE AIRBAGS, WHICH AWAKES THE DRIVER. MINIMAL DAMAGE DONE TO THE TRAILER AND NO SERIOUS INJURIES. VEHICLE 1 SUSTAINED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE AND THE DRIVER WAS CITED FOR FAILURE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL
