NARRATIVE

VEHICLE #1 IS WESTBOUND AT THE 137MM OF I80 DRIVING IN THE INSIDE OF TWO LANES OF WESTBOUND TRAVEL. VEHICLE #2 IS TAKING THE NORTHBOUND I235 RAMP TO GO WESTBOUND ON I80. VEHICLE #2 FAILS TO YIELD TO THE WESTBOUND TRAFFIC AND ATTEMPTS TO CUT ACROSS TRAFFIC AND TAKE THE SOUTHBOUND RAMP TO I235 ACCORDING TO A WITNESS AND THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE #1. THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 SAYS SHE IS PLANNING ON GOING WESTBOUND ON I80 WHICH DOES NOT COINCIDE WITH HER ACTIONS. AS VEHICLE #2 IS CROSSING THE WESTBOUND LANES VEHICLE #1 ATTEMPT TO AVOID VEHICLE #2 BY SWERVING TO THE RIGHT. VEHICLE #1 IS UNABLE TO AVOID IMPACT AND STRIKES VEHICLE #2 TO THE REAR TO THE FRONT LEFT CORNER OF VEHICLE #1. THIS IMPACT OCCURS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TWO WESTBOUND LANES OF TRAVEL. AFTER IMPACT VEHICLE #1 COMES TO REST FACING WEST ON THE OUTSIDE SHOULDER. AFTER IMPACT VEHICLE #2 COMES TO REST FACING WEST ON THE INSIDE SHOULDER AND SOUTHBOUND RAMP TO I235.
