NARRATIVE

VEHICLE #1 HAD BEEN EASTBOUND ON D20 AND PULLED INTO THE DRIVEWAY AT 15625 D20 TO TURN AROUND. DRIVER #1 SAW 1 VEHICLE COMING UP BEHIND HER AND WAITED FOR THAT VEHICLE TO PASS. DRIVER #1 SAID THAT SHE DID NOT SEE ANY ADDITIONAL VEHICLES IN HER REAR VIEW MIRROR. SHE SAID THAT THE SUN WAS BRIGHT IN THE MIRROR BUT THAT SHE HAD SEEN THE FIRST VEHICLE THAT SHE HAD LET GO BY AND SHE ATTEMPTED TO MAKE THE TURN. VEHICLE #1 WAS THEN STRUCK BY VEHICLE #2. BOTH DRIVERS WERE WEARING SEATBELTS AND NO ONE WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED. THE PASSENGER IN VEHICLE #1 WAS ALSO WEARING HER SEATBELT AND WAS UNINJURED.
