NARRATIVE

VEH #1 AND VEH #2 ARE MOTORCYCLES AND WERE BOTH TRAVELING TOGETHER EN ROUTE TO THE SAME DESTINATION. BOTH VEHICLES LEFT THE HY VEE GAS STATION IN MOUNT PLEASANT MAKING LEFT HAND TURNS ONTO HWY 34 WHEN VEH #1 GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE REAR WHEEL OF VEH #2. THE DRIVER OF VEH #1 WAS THROWN FROM THE BIKE WHILE THE DRIVER OF VEH #2 WAS ABLE TO STAY ON AND PARK THE BIKE JUST DOWN THE ROAD. WHILE THE DRIVER OF VEH #1 WAS LAYING IN THE ROADWAY WITH INJURIES, THE BIKE CONTINUED TO TRAVEL DOWN THE ROAD AND FINALLY CAME TO A REST ON THE SOUTH SIDE SHOULDER OF HWY 34. THE DRIVER OF VEH #1 WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE AND HER BIKE TOWED BY BREUERS OF MOUNT PLEASANT. THE DRIVER OF VEH #2 LEFT THE SCENE ON HER OWN BIKE.
