NARRATIVE

UNIT ONE WAS EASTBOUND ON INTERSTATE 80 AT THE 190.1 MILE MARKER WHEN A TIRE CAME OFF OF THE TRAILER UNIT ONE WAS PULLING. THE TIRE CROSSED THE MEDIAN AND STRUCK UNIT TWO IN THE CENTER OF THE HOOD. UNIT TWO WAS WESTBOUND AT THIS LOCATION. UNIT ONE CAME TO REST ON THE SHOULDER OF EASTBOUND TRAFFIC NOT KNOWING THAT HIS TIRE HAD MADE CONTACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE. UNIT TWO CAME TO REST ON THE SHOULDER OF WESTBOUND TRAFFIC.
