NARRATIVE

UNIT #1 AND #2 WERE HEADED NORTHBOUND ON I35 NEAR THE 96 MILE MARKER. TRAFFIC WAS SLOWING SIGNIFICANTLY FOR A ACCIDENT AHEAD. UNIT #2 HAD TO SLOW IMMEDIATELY. A NON-CONTACT VEHICLE BEHIND UNIT #2 TOOK THE MEDIAN TO AVOID HITTING UNIT #2. UNIT #1 WAS BEHIND THE NON-CONTACT VEHICLE. UNIT #1 WAS UNABLE TO SLOW IN TIME, AND COLLIDED WITH UNIT #2 IN A REAR-END COLLISION.
