NARRATIVE

VEHICLE # 2 WAS EAST BOUND ON I-80, PULLING A LARGE ENCLOSED TRAILER. THE DRIVER LOST CONTROL AND THE TRAILER ROLLED ONTO IT'S TOP. VEHICLE # 2 AND TRAILER STOPPED FACING NORTH BOUND, BLOCKING 1 1/2 LANES. THE TRAILER WAS ON IT'S TOP AND VEHICLE # 2 WAS UPRIGHT BUT THE BACK TIRES WERE OFF THE GROUND SEVERAL FEET DUE TO THE POSITIONING OF THE TRAILER. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER, VEHICLE # 1, WHO WAS EAST BOUND ON I-80 STRUCK THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF VEHICLE # 2. VEHICLE # 1 WENT UNDER VEHICLE # 2., ACROSS THE MEDIAN AND CAME TO REST IN THE LEFT LANE OF I-80 W.B. WHEN VEHICLE # 1 WENT UNDER VEHICLE # 2., IT CAUSED VEHICLE # 2 TO FLIP ONTO IT'S TOP. THE ACCIDENT REPORT NUMBER FOR VEHICLE # 2 IS 2010049402. THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE # 2 (WHO WAS OUT OF THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THIS ACCIDENT) WITNESSED THIS ACCIDENT. AMENDED 1/3/11 TO ADD BLOOD/ALCOHOL TEST RESULTS OF .190, AND A CHARGE OF OWI 1ST TO THE DRIVER OF UNIT #1, GRETCHEN JENSEN. THE LAB RESULTS WERE ALSO SCANNED AND ATTACHED.
