NARRATIVE

UNIT ONE WAS NORTHBOUND IN THE LEFT LANE OF INTERSTATE 35 ACTIVELY PASSING UNIT TWO WHO WAS IN THE RIGHT LANE. THERE WAS A THUNDERSTORM PASSING THROUGH THE AREA AT THE SAME TIME AS THE VEHICLE CRASH. THE ROADWAY WAS WET, WHICH IN TURN CAUSED UNIT ONE TO HYDROPLANE. THE DRIVER OF UNIT ONE TRIED TO REGAIN CONTROL BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. UNIT ONE IMPACTED UNIT TWO AND ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT WAS IN TOW BY UNIT TWO. THE VEHICLE IN TOW WAS A 2002 HONDA. VIN # 1HGCG16562A065340, MISSOURI PLATE KF5L7J. IT TOO SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE LEFT SIDE. BOTH VEHICLES WERE ABLE TO BE DRIVEN AWAY FROM THE SCENE.
