NARRATIVE

VEHICLE #1 WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON INTERSTATE 80 WHEN THE DRIVER STARTED TO COUGH TO THE POINT HE BLACKED OUT. THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER TRIED TO STEER THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND OVER STEERED THE VEHICLE INTO THE MEDIAN. AS THE VEHICLE ENTERED THE MEDIAN, IT HIT A MARKER POST AND THE LEFT REAR TIRE BLEW OUT. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE.
