NARRATIVE

UNIT #1 HAD PULLED ONTO THE SHOULDER BECAUSE THE FAMILY PET BECAME ILL AND SUBSEQUENTLY DIED WHILE THEY WERE PARKED. WITHIN A FEW MOMENTS, THE DRIVER OF UNIT #1 BEGAN TO ACCELERATE AND RE-ENTER THE ROADWAY. UNIT #2 WAS TRAVELING NORTH AND STRUCK UNIT #1 FROM BEHIND.
